CAMP DATES & Schedule

Camp 2024 will take place Sunday, June 30th - Saturday - July 6th.

See below for a detailed breakdown of the camp week schedule. Please note that each camp day is mandatory for all campers, and all shifts relevant to their role are mandatory for volunteers.

saturday, june 29th (Volunteers only)

  • 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM: Camp Set-up Day

Sunday, june 30th (First day of camp for campers)

  • 8:30 AM - 9:00 AM: Camper check-in with parents/guardians

  • 9:00 AM - 9:15 AM: Camper welcome / make name tags

  • 9:15 AM - 9:55 AM: Opening circle, activities, and icebreakers

  • 9:55 AM - 10:25 AM: T-shirt design workshop

  • 10:25 AM - 10:50 AM: Band formation activities

  • 10:50 AM - 11:05 AM: Snack (provided by camp)

  • 11:05 AM - 12:20 PM: Instrument introduction & first lesson

  • 12:20 PM - 1:30 PM: Band Formation Activities

  • 1:30 PM - 2:00 PM: Closing Circle

  • 2:00 PM: Camper Pick-up

  • 2:10 PM - 2:40 PM: Volunteer Debrief

  • 2:40 PM - 3:00 PM - Optional Band Formation Meeting

Monday - friday, July 1st - july 5th

  • 8:30 AM - 9:00 AM: Early Drop-off for Campers

  • 9:00 AM: Camper Drop-off

  • 9:00 AM - 9:15 AM:  Opening Circle 

  • 9:15 AM - 11:10 AM: Instrument Instruction (with a break for snack)

  • 11:10 AM - 12:10 PM: Counselor Activities & Workshops

  • 12:10 PM - 12:30 PM: Lunch (volunteer lunch is provided) 

  • 12:30 PM - 1:30 PM: Lunch Concert + Q&A

  • 1:30 PM - 3:30 PM: Band Practice

  • 3:30 PM - 4:00 PM: Closing Circle

  • 4:00 PM: Camper Pick-up 

  • 4:10 PM - 4:40 PM: Volunteer Debrief

saturday, July 6th (LAst day of camp for campers)

  • 9:00 AM: Camper Drop-off

  • 9:00 AM - 9:30 AM: Opening Circle

  • 9:30 AM - 11:30 AM: Dress Rehearsal

  • 11:30 AM - 1:00 PM: Closing Circle

  • 1:00 PM - 1:45 PM: Lunch

  • 1:45 PM - 2:00 PM: Final Set-up (merch, bake sale, donations, etc)

  • 2:00 PM: Doors Open

  • 2:30 PM: Final Performance Begins

  • 3:30 PM - 4:30 PM: Campers assist with clean up and tear down

Sunday, July 7th (Volunteers)

  • 9:00 AM - 5:00 PM: Camp Tear-down Day
